The Realis Simulation Detailed Direct Kinetics model (R2DK) in 3D CFD software VECTIS, is powered by LOGEsoft which handles the complex kinetics and combustion simulations, enabling precise modelling of fuel combustion dynamics in Internal Combustion Engines (ICEs).
R2DK benefits from the flexibility of using both open-source kinetics mechanisms and LOGEsoft’s proprietary reaction mechanisms. This allows engineers to simulate various combustion scenarios quickly and accurately, considering different fuels and operating conditions. LOGEsoft also enables detailed modelling of combustion emissions such as NOx, CO and particulate matter, to optimise engine efficiency and reduce environmental impacts.
