ICE Forward Conference with Rail Transportation Symposium
Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel, Wisconsin19-21 October 2025Returning again this year as silver sponsor of this event, we will have a Meet and Greet area at the conference as well as prominent Realis Simulation branding across the website, digital programme and signage.
The ICE Forward Conference (previously known as the Internal Combustion Engine Fall Technical Conference) is an annual event that promotes the understanding, development, design, manufacture, and application of reciprocating internal combustion engines for our present and future societies. These include compression ignition, spark ignition, and other advanced engines used in mobile and stationary applications. Technical paper and presentation-only topics span theoretical subject areas to practical applications, incorporating both on- and off-highway engines, advanced combustion, fuels, and electrification and emissions systems. Thermal management, carbon management, fuel injection, lubrication, and modelling and simulation, among other engine-related topics, are also of interest.
For the first time in 2025, the ICE Forward Conference will be combined with the ASME Rail Transportation Symposium. The Rail Transportation Symposium offers the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in rail transportation. Topics of interest for Rail Transportation include, rail tracks, rolling stock, rail operations, energy management, vehicle technology and track systems.
