About the role

We are looking for a M&A Business Development Manager to join the Mergers & Acquisitions Deal Sourcing Team within Corvus Software Group.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with C-suite executives, business owners, investors, and strategic partners, and who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where their work has a direct and measurable impact on the organisation with the opportunity to participate in investment and strategic decisions.

Main responsibilities

  • Identify and engage with software company owners, shareholders, and other stakeholders
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders of vertical market software businesses
  • Source and qualify strategic acquisition opportunities that meet our investment criteria
  • Manage and expand our CRM database, re-engaging existing leads and tracking new prospects
  • Analyze, manage, and search our existing CRM database for available prospects and stale leads that should be nurtured
  • Plan and execute outreach campaigns via LinkedIn, email, phone calls, trade shows, and in-person meetings

Who we are looking for?

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 4+ years of experience in high-volume SaaS sales or 2+ years in M&A / VC / PE deal sourcing
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or related field preferred
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize, and deliver results
  • Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills
  • Curious, commercially minded, and motivated by building lasting partnerships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Fluent English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Legally authorized to work in the Czech Republic, with ability to travel within Europe and to the U.S.
